So Sharon and I have decided to start this reading the Bible in a year
again. I failed miserably last time. I think I only lasted like 2 and
a half months. Sharon even lasted longer than me. But things are going
to change this time. I quickly wrote up this site today and it’s going
to be our tracker. As the days go by, the gray rows mean we have read
the readings for the day. The yellows ones are the ones we’re suppose
to read, but haven’t yet? Get it? All are welcomed to join. You can
specify the date you’d like to start too. I’m sure there are some bugs
too, but whatever.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship
or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to
be slaughtered.”

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels or demons,
neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth,
nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love
of God that is Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:35-39

Busy day. Great day though! I’ll write more tomorrow.

I just have to mention that Shane Barnard was going to have a concert at
Biola tonight. But I had youth fellowship so I couldn’t go. Kinda sucks,
right? Well, shoot. There was no concert tonight. It’s going to be
tomorrow night!! Woo hoo!! Shoot. Another busy day tomorrow. Service
tomorrow morning. Disneyland in the afternoon. Shane & Shane at night.
Oh yeah!!! I’ve been waiting forever to watch Shane in concert. And
I was bummed out that I couldn’t go watch him when he finally came. Oh
but now it’s all changed!! This is going to be so sweet!!

Woo hoo!!

I stayed up til 3 last night looking for Caedmon’s Call stuff. Tonight
I’m up til 3 looking at Shane’s stuff.

😀

I went to the Caedmon’s Call and Jars of Clay concert tonight. I’ve always
liked Caedmon’s Call, but after seeing them in concert, I like them even
more. They’re hilarious. Just talking to each other. It was like a jam
session for them. It seem so laid back. It was great. I loved it when
the played This World and Hands of the Potter. So cool.

Jars of Clay was good. I love the acoustic set. I moved seats after
Caedmon’s Call so I could sit with Jenn since she would be the only one
who knew the new songs. So the people were standing during the first
song. After the first song, the lazy people decide to sit down, but
Jenn and I are still up. In the middle of the song, I feel this tap
on my back. It’s John telling me to sit down. And then I look behind
him and there’s Bel and Stan, so I give them the stare. And then I
had to tell Jenn to sit down too. She was disappointed and also looked
back to give some people the stare.

Thanks to Hannah, I knew that some of the Caedmon’s Call members came to
play with Jars of Clay. Thanks! Of course it was a little different
this time since I saw pictures of Danielle Young, but she wasn’t out there
for the encore at this concert. Oh well.

Going to be a long weekend. Universal tomorrow morning/afternoon. Youth
fellowship at night. Office Space at the Rialto at midnight. Worship
service Sunday morning. Disneyland afterwards. Yup. Lots of stuff to
do this weekend. 🙂

My night involved driving out to Thousand Oaks to hang out with Jenn
and Gundy. And watch Gundy play basketball. I watched Jenn pass out
in the back seat of my car while going back to Gundy’s place. And
then worrying about Jenn getting home safely. And then talking to
Sharon about stalking. And then getting Sharon worried about Jenn.
Hahaha!

What a night. 🙂 Jenn better not be dead though.

This week has been weird.

Monday night I was all worried about Jenn. And yesterday I got mad at
Yvonne, sort of. I think I was really annoying her yesterday. And then
tonight I got all upset at Jenn. Like I said before. I’m all moody.
I wonder what tomorrow will bring. 🙂

But all is well now. I finally figure out the bug in the system. I
can’t believe I’m doing work at 2 in the morning. And I hear Eric got
a job. Nice.

I wonder what the guys think about Sharon now. Jeff and Eric used to
always say how Sharon is such a bad kid and a punk. I never believed
that. And now she’s changed so much. You can see the fire she has for
God. She has been such an encouragement for me. I can see God using
her in amazing ways. 🙂

I’ve been holding off on talking about the Jars of Clay CD since I didn’t
want Jenn to figure out I got it for her. But she knows me too well and
can read my mind. I’m not sneaky enough for her.

The new Jars CD is awesome. It’s very acousticy. It reminds me of like
of the late 60’s/early 70’s mellow rock. My kind of music. I think
this album may be my favorite Jars album.

Today has been a pretty dang good day. Yvonne dropped by work to go
to lunch with us. I’ve been talking to her about Hrazdan Chicken, and
well, I guess I’ll have to take her there. 🙂 Spent about two hours
hanging out at “work”. And then when Yvonne gets home, cause we haven’t
talked enough today, we start chatting on AIM. Played some Halo. Went
to Jeff’s house, played my game in ESPN football. Went back over to
Yvonne’s house to watch Survivor. Ate at Claim Jumpers. Went back
to Yvonne’s house to watch CSI and Without A Trace. Looked at Yvonne’s
old CD and tape collection. Lost a bet. Played a prank on Sam.
Impersonated Yvonne over AIM. Went home. Good day.

Yeah. Jenn knows me too well. She knew it was me impersonating Yvonne
quickly. And I lost a bet to Yvonne. I gave her a K-Ci & JoJo, All
My Life single back when we were in Foothill. I bet she threw it away,
so she went to go look for it. And there it was. Still in its shrink
wrap. But there it was. So I’ve got to read the first Harry Potter by
the time she leaves for Alabama next month. Great. Reading.
